A triptych from my Les Femmes d'Alger series was included in "Insight/Foresight" at The Nerman Museum of Contemporary Art. The piece is part of the museum's permenant collection.
I will have a piece in "Human Nature" a group show curated by Jaime Munoz at The Pit. I will have a piece in "Unexpected Encounters" at The Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art. The exhibition is a sampling of works acquired by the museum over the last ten years. The show opens on June 2nd and runs through August 12th.
My painting from 2009 "Iran: Pillars" will be included in a group show at LACMA called "In the Fields of Empty Days". The show opens May 6th and runs through September 9th. "Iran: Pillars" was acquired by LACMA last year, this is the first time it will be shown at the museum.
